Meditation | Health and Fitness

May I ask, why do you practice meditation? If you do meditate, what does it really mean?

Throughout the world, many are practicing meditation. And, I doubt if it is the correct thing to do. It takes spiritual insight to penetrate something as timeless as that.

To understand this, it is not something you can grasp with words. Words are rather limited. To go into something that is not a thing of the mind creates a certain dilemma of communicating it to another.

So, you must wonder if there is such a thing as practicing meditation. Many advocate such a thing. Because they have not awakened to life beyond the limitations of the mind, I question the truth of what they are doing.

In fact, there is no such thing as meditation. That is a word of the mind. True meditation is not a thing the mind can touch. Yet, we are stuck with words.

There is that which can be referred to as meditation. Spiritual meditation comes of its own without any attempt of conjuring it. It is pure effortlessness.

Meditation of the mind is one thing; spiritual meditation is something of a whole other movement that is not mental.

So, it is vital that you realize there is no such thing as practicing meditation. Is that why so many have not spiritually awakened?

Actually, all you can do is be open to life. Simply observe what you are doing without any sense of directing or desiring. Letting whatever comes to mind, come freely.

Simply watch, listen, feel intensely every aspect of your life. Let awareness, the fullness of perception within you, be like a living flame that burns through everything that you experience.

Which means, irrespectively of whatever you are doing, working or leisure, from morning until rest, observe every thought, every feeling, every intimation without the slightest desire of changing what you perceive.

In the wholeness of perception, you are one flowing with all life. To try to capture or sustain this is futile. For even this is still a thing of the mind. Flow with it without any sense of attachment or the desire to detach. Simply flow with life, unperturbed.

When you least expect it, even this will vanish into nothingness. When you discover you are no one, you are nothing; the sacred, which is beyond this life, awakens within you.
Spirituality is beyond time, space, and causation. Truth is beyond mind. The meditation of the world is man-made. Such meditation is confined to the mind because of seeking.

Spiritually, that which you seek cannot be sought and that is the wonder of it. The more you look for it the more it evades you. Instead, it is the art of wondering what is this self, this seeker that is in search of God?

The answer is a spiritual realization that words can never express. It is pure revelation. Do you really want to realize life beyond this world?
